The UAE's $30 billion bet on artificial intelligence is taking shape across a network of new compute campuses, sovereign AI partnerships and innovation districts that stretch from Abu Dhabi to Dubai's Internet City.

Projects including Stargate UAE and the expansion of Innovation City are designed to anchor the country's position as a regional hub for foundation-model training, inference and data services.

Analysts say the build-out, which combines domestic capital with deals struck with US chip and cloud companies, could reshape the GCC's compute map for years to come.
