RTA rolls out seven major road projects across Dubai this month
New lanes, junction works and links target congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road, Hessa Street and around Motor City.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority has announced the implementation of seven new development projects during the month of June as part of its ongoing plan to upgrade the emirate's road infrastructure.
The package includes an additional traffic lane on Sheikh Zayed Road for traffic coming from Hessa Street towards Abu Dhabi, intersection upgrades near Motor City and Arabian Ranches and new links serving Dubai Harbour.
The RTA said the works are designed to add capacity, smooth merging and shorten journey times across some of the city's busiest commuter corridors.
