Emirates pledges €100m for daily Berlin and Stuttgart flights
Dubai carrier seeks German approval for new long-haul links it says would add jobs and cargo capacity.
Emirates has pledged €100 million of investment in support of daily flights between Dubai and the German cities of Berlin and Stuttgart, the airline said.
President Tim Clark said the carrier has secured slots at Berlin airport but is still awaiting regulatory approval to operate. The proposed services would connect Germany to Emirates' long-haul network via Dubai.
