Elusive Arabian wildcats caught on camera for first time in a decade

Conservationists have captured photographs of the elusive Arabian wildcat at Wadi Wurayah National Park in Fujairah for the first time in more than a decade.

The images, taken by motion-triggered camera traps installed by Emirates Nature-WWF, suggest a small but viable population of the rare predator still roams the mountains of the UAE's east coast.
